W O R K // prognoseboek.

In a previous post I wrote about 'beeldrijm'. I had to make a 'prognoseboek'. Again, I couldn't find the English term for this word. I had to make a book that predicts the trends of the future. Very difficult! We had to base our topic on a social problem that is going on in the world.   My subject was 'earthly elements'. Now a days everybody is always on the rush. We don't personally communicate anymore, because technology is taking over. Social media is the new communication  and we are too focused on our phones/laptops/tablets. That is why I think that people want to go back to the basics, because they are going to miss that. I went back to the very first basics that is produced by nature and isn't touched by humans. Water. Air. Earth. For every subtopic we had to make 3 photo matches, a color card and a fabric card. It wasn't easy to start this project, but I think the end result turned out fine. 

O O T D // comfy shopping.

This OOTD is casual and a bit tomboyish. I don't have a specific style, I just wear what I feel like wearing. It depends on my mood and of course on the occasion. My classmate and I went to Amsterdam to "shop" for fabrics and pick up our school project at the printshop. I knew we would walk a lot, so I wanted to be comfortable. A jersey sweater, stretchy pants, a backpack and platform trainers. To accessorize the look I wore a snapback and red lipstick, to give my appearance some color.

We managed to find some nice fabrics. Had to rush to the printshop, but luckily we arrived just in time. So luckily I wore appropriate running gear or else I probably broke my ankles haha.

I N S P I R A T I O N // wisf.

This new schoolproject I am working on is about "beeldrijm". I am not sure what it is called in English, but when I searched on Google Translate I get "image rhyme". A literal translation. Basically you rhyme with pictures instead of words. Trying to match two different pictures with each other in shape, structure, color or silhouette. It may sound easy, but it is harder than you think. I found this website / tumblr that posts these kind of pictures matches. whereiseefashion.tumblr.com This website is owned by a girl named Bianca who studies fashion design in Milan. So most of the matches are fashion related. I really love her work, so I want to share some of my favorites. Good inspirations for my schoolproject. And make sure to visit her tumblr as well.
